Ardwick is an incredibly diverse area just outside of Manchester city centre, we have a rich history which started when we were a small village called Atherdwic and grew rapidly through the industrial era to huge housing estates and factories. Notable residents in Ardwick have included Ellen Wilkinson, Elizabeth Gaskell and the Pankhurst family.

Nowadays we’re an active branch within the Manchester Central Constinuency, represented by Lucy Powell MP. Our Councillors are Bernard Priest, Tina Hewitson and Amna Abdulltif and we campaign all year round to make our community better.
